Kerone Maxineau loves talking about natural hair. In doing so, she wanted to inspire other natural textured hair women who may have trouble on how to care for their hair.
Kerone received her occupational therapist BS/MS degree from D’Youville College. She has worked in various health-related settings from pediatrics to geriatrics in her career.
She was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She came to the US as a child with her mother, Mercella, and her older brother, Rohan. Her younger brother, Robert, was later born in the US. Kerone grew up in Albany, New York.
Kerone currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, Reginald. She attends Free Chapel in Suwanee, Georgia, led by the senior pastor Jentezen Franklin. She enjoys laughter, spending time with family and friends, decorating, traveling, and eating delicious international meals.
You can visit her online on her natural hair blog at Lumynex Essentials.
